  about a month ago, i purchased arabic/english gospels of john that contain a commentary for muslims.. .

  i went to one of my neighbors and spoke to him and gave him one.

  fast forward to today, my brakes need done so i took my car to the shop, walking back into my street i saw my friend abdullah outside.. .

  i am curious as to what current religion is similar in beliefs and organization to jw's.

  i've only come as far as christadelphians.

  ab, knowledgeable JWs are going to claim that other religions that have some of their doctrines did not have "the whole truth". They will also say that all the sects of Bible Students that started popping up during the Rutherford takeover are to be considered rebels to "God's organization" simply for separating themselves from it no matter if they believe in the exact same doctrines.

  Spy camera wanted, motion activated, wireless, etc.

  okay, it doesn't have to be a spy camera.. it must be something wireless that send signals to my android smart phone.

  and some of those spy cameras seem to have fairly good features but they are also scary.

  their descriptions are obviously translated from some other language and i would worry about decent customer support.. i'd simply like to be notified the moment a certain cabinet door (actually, two doors) is opened.

  For a moment there I thought that it was StopTheTears that was going to convert to Islam. Whew.

  In any case, Islam teaches that Jesus will return in the last days to assist the Mahdi (Muslim messiah) in his war against the Muslim boogey man who's the equivalent to the Christian Antichrist. I guess that gives you both some common ground.

  i am new to this site, was always told by my elder father if the site accidentally appeared on the comp screen it was satans doing.

  anyways, i am 28 y/m who had the unfortunate life of being the last of three kids to be born ins.

  my oldest sibling lasted about 8 years before she was d,f.

  things like this can have knock-on effects as other systems become overloaded, so far we seem ok so fingers crossed we stay that way..

  i know i will get a lot of backslash on this forum for saying this, but as it looks like, i won't ever be able to escape the jws.

  i have been a born in, third generation jw and awoken in one way or another (i joined this forum 15 years ago) for a very long time.

  but i have adapted to the jw lifestyle to a point where it does not bother me anymore.

  Don't mean to be rude but how could you live with yourself if you were to convert a 'worldly' person to your religion? Would your conscience not feel guilty for introducing him/her into a destructive cult?

  A 100,000 years ago? I'm a little confused. Although we started migrating 60,000 years ago from Africa it wasn't until about 45,000 years ago that our species colonized Europe where Neandertals lived (There is no evidence of them elsewhere). There may have been other "archaic" species in Africa who, when we began to expand in and out of the continent, might have infected us.

  Yet again, we might have caught it from Neandertals in the ever changing border between our two populations (?).
